The Premier Soccer League (PSL) has revealed the date for the announcement of the long-awaited 2024/25 PSL Awards nominees.
The PSL confirmed on Monday that the nominees for the annual awards would be officially revealed on Tuesday, 15 July.
The awards ceremony was postponed due to Mamelodi Sundowns' participation in the FIFA Club World Cup, and the actual date for the PSL Awards winners is yet to be announced.
Among the big categories, the PSL Footballer of the Season accolade carrries the biggest prizemoney and has drawn plenty of debate.

On paper, Lucas Ribeiro Costa appears the outright favourite, with 16 goals to his name and an additional nine assists from 26 league appearances.
His closest competition appears to be Relebohile Mofokeng, who netted five goals and registered seven assists during his 24 appearances.
Although somewhat under the radar, Sekhukhune United's Keletso Makgalwa is also in the conversation.
The speedy winger contributed four goals and 11 assists from 25 appearances last term.
Other big awards to look out for include the Players' Player of the Season as well as Coach of the Season.

In the Young Player of the Season category, Mofokeng is likely to earn another nomination but could face competition from a now former teammate Mohau Nkota and the Kaizer Chiefs duo of Wandile Duba and Mduduzi Shabalala.
