Usuthu released a statement announcing that senior officials had a meeting following the PSL's decision to suspend all football across the country.
The club came to a decision that all players from the junior academies and MultiChoice Diski Challenge team that are not training with the first-team squad should self-isolate at home until further notice.
"It is expected that our players self-isolate during this time and expect to be called back when the situation changes and when the time comes that we know what is going on with the balance of the season," said general manager Lunga Sokhela.
"First-team players to report to training on Friday morning [20 March]. They must however remain in isolation at their Durban residencies and not go out of town under any circumstances."
Players who are not part of the senior team have been told to vacate the clubhouse by Wednesday, 18 March at 16h00.
The Usuthu clubhouse will be equipped with hand sanitisers and a professional cleaning company will be found as an extra measure to guard against the virus.
