This was after he had struggled at SuperSport United.
His time up north has turned the 23-year-old’s fortunes around as he has broken into the Bafana Bafana squad with his transfer value rising towards R15 million though there have been concerns with his form this season.
Appollis was linked with MC Alger earlier in the season, but Polokwane boss Johnny Mogaladi stood his ground.
Kaizer Chiefs then came knocking as well with no success.
However, this website has gathered that plans are already underway to bring in a replacement for Appollis whose form has dropped this season.
For all the game time he has had, Appollis has only scored twice and provided one assist this season.
He has found himself withdrawn before the hour mark in the last two games with his influence and effect have become dilute.
Word from the Limpopo club is that it all points to a transfer in the next window – pending satisfaction of all the price tag.
