The Brazilian netted a stunning solo goal against Borussia Dortmund on Sunday, which has been widely touted as a contender for Goal of the Tournament.

The 26-year-old now has one goal and one assist in two matches at the Club World Cup, and it appears his performances have already caught the eye of potential suitors.

A report by Footboom claims that French outfit Saint-Etienne are interested in signing Ribeiro from Sundowns after the tournament.

Footboom claim that Saint-Etienne are considering making an offer in the region of €2 million (approximately R41 million) for the Masandawana attacker.

Notably, Saint-Etienne were relegated from Ligue 1 at the end of the 2024/25 season and are set to compete in the second tier next season.

Ribeiro has previously played in France, having featured for Valenciennes during the 2018/19 campaign.

The forward only joined Sundowns in July 2023, signing a five-year contract running until June 2028.
