Venda Football Academy came from a goal and recorded a 2-1 victory over the newly-promoted Gomora United.
The new boys were fired up right from the onset and went to the break on the front-foot courtesy of Tumelo Matona.
Clinton Larsen’s men grabbed full control in the second half and a quick-fire double from Ciniso Mazibuko helped secure the come-from-behind victory.

Kruger United and Highbury FC remained winless after battling each other to a hard-fought 1-1 draw at the Kanyamazane Stadium in Mpumalanga.
Veteran player Naeem Amojee put the visitors ahead at the course of the interval, but it was wiped out when Thokozani Sibanyoni replied after the break and forced a point apiece.
