Newly promoted Motsepe Foundation Championship outfit Gomora United have decided on the future of veteran defender Rooi Mahamutsa.
Gomora secured their status in the Motsepe Foundation Championship after winning the ABC Motsepe National Play-Offs that took place in Tshwane a fortnight ago.

The Gauteng-based outfit has been joined by The Bees and Midlands Wanderers in the second tier next season after finishing second and third, respectively, during the play-offs.
Gomora will not be the only ones chasing a historic achievement next season but Mahamutsa too, who is set to become the oldest player to play in the league after 42-year-old midfielder Atisang Batsi.
The latter featured for Orbit College during the 2024/25 campaign.
Gomora boss Joe Seanego has confirmed that the former Orlando Pirates defender will be staying on with the club.
"Rooi is staying. He promised that he would take me to PSL (topflight) and then retire," Seanego tells KickOff.com.
Meanwhile, Gomora will keep Johnny Ferreira on the bench after he helped the team gain promotion.

The Alexandra-based club is also set to keep anothe former Bucs defender, Patrick Phungwayo, as their assistant coach.
"The coach and the technical team are staying," confirmed Seanego.
