Pitso Mosimane contributes to uplifting local football development

Pitso Mosimane has played his role in the upliftment of local football development. 

The Al Wahda manager returned to the country for a visit and inaugurated a multipurpose sports court in Soweto.

"I have touched down on home soil as part of this year's 2023 Nedbank Cup campaign, I've been given the opportunity to inaugurate a multipurpose sports court at Lofentse Girls High School," Mosimane wrote on Instagram. 

"Through the partnership between @nedbank , @orlandopirates and The Sports Trust, we aim to uplift level of football development for girls and boys in Orlando."

Department of Sport, Arts and Culture Minister Mr Zizi Kodwa also attended the official handover. 

"It is significant that this handover takes place as Government mobilises stakeholders to deepen investment in women and grassroots sports development," Government said in a statement.

The handover was conducted on behalf of Orlando Pirates football club who were the winners of the 2022/2023 Nedbank Cup.
