Salum also played in last Friday’s goalless friendly against Bafana Bafana at the Peter Mokaba Stadium, adding to his time on the pitch during his stay in Mzansi.

Beyond football, Salum seemed to relish his experience in South Africa. He took to social media to share joyful moments, including scenes from Bloemfontein, where the COSAFA Cup is being held.

In one post, he was seen enjoying himself in Bloemfontein, with Kaizer Chiefs supporters urging him to join the club in the comment section ahead of the new season.

Salum has long been on Chiefs’ radar, particularly since current head coach Nasreddine Nabi, who previously worked with him at Young Africans, expressed a desire to bring him to Naturena.
