Mutizwa is believed to be a free agent following his unconfirmed departure from Lamontville Golden Arrows.

The Zimbabwean striker last played for Abafana Bes'thende during a 1-0 loss to AmaZulu at the end of April.
Amakhosi are in search of an experienced striker who can make an immediate impact, and Nomvethe, who understands the pressures of leading the club's attack, believes that at 31 years old, Mutizwa is the right fit for the Soweto giants, especially given his familiarity with the Premier Soccer League.
"Mutizwa is a good striker and a perfect match for Kaizer Chiefs," Nomvethe tells KickOff.
"You can see how Golden Arrows have struggled in his absence; I wouldn’t mind if Chiefs signed him.
"Mutizwa is a quality striker who knows how to score. Chiefs should sign him now. At 31, he should be at the peak of his career, and his experience could greatly benefit Kaizer Chiefs.
"You can have young players, but in certain situations, a lack of experience can hinder the conversion of scoring opportunities.

"As a Chiefs player, you need to work hard because it's a big club. Playing for Chiefs is not a vacation; you have to perform well. Scoring goals is the only way to keep Kaizer Chiefs supporters happy.
"Mutizwa's awareness inside the box can help Kaizer Chiefs immensely. He is clinical, he understands the game, and when he wants to score, he often does. He is a talented striker who isn’t greedy and can capitalize on even the smallest chances to find the net.”
