Kaizer Chiefs captain Yusuf Maart has explained why he did not celebrate his winning goal in a 2-1 victory over rivals Orlando Pirates in the Nedbank Cup final last weekend.
Maart emerged as the hero for Chiefs at Moses Mabhida last Saturday, delivering not only the winning goal but also a Man-of-the-Match performance.

The men in Gold and Black had opened the scoring in the 10th minute via Gaston Sirino's spot kick, before Evidence Makgopa levelled matter with a headed effort seven minutes later.
The highly contested encounter looked destined for extra-time until Maart latched on to a cross from Ashley Du Preez, hitting the ball first-time with the left foot and guiding it past Sipho Chaine in the 80th minute.
In an act that may have surprised a few, the 29-year-old decided against celebrating the goal.
Speaking on Radio2000's Game On, the midfielder shot down the suggestion this was because Pirates is his former club.
"No, I've been celebrating when I scored twice," said Maart, referring to his previous Soweto Derby goals.
"So, the third time, it was a bit tired. So, ja, what can you do? So, obviously, when you are about to run to the flag, you see your teammates running to you. So, at that moment, I just stood still and enjoyed the moment together with everyone and the technical team, everyone.
"The moment was amazing.

"I could feel it [that it was going to be a goal] when the ball left my foot. My foot went right through, I knew there would be something. Just standing there watching the ball, it was a great moment," shares the former Sekhukhune United man.
Amakhosi are not out of the woods yet with a Top Eight spot still to play for in the league. They take on Babina Noko on Saturday, before ending the season with a fixture against Polokwane City.
