After Kaizer Chiefs announced the signing of a seemingly prolific striker Flavio Silva, who joins Makabi Lilepo, Shaun Bartlett has warned why Amakhosi can't start celebrating yet.
Silva was announced by Chiefs as a new signing this week, alongside Ethan Chislett and Nkanyiso Shinga.

The signing of the Bissau-Guinean forward, however, has set tongues wagging that Amakhosi could finally have an answer to their goal-scoring woes.
Especially since the Portuguese striker scored nine goals in 33 games for Indonesian side Persebaya Surabaya last season and more impressively netted 30 goals in 45 matches in the 2023/24 campaign.
Bartlett, has suggested, however, that it would take a collective effort to improve the club's conversation rate, after Chiefs created a big number of chances but were let down by their finishing last season.
"Everyone is gonna look at the striker that's gonna give you 15 goals a season. I don't put too much emphasis on the striking department, if the team is doing well, the striking itself will benefit," Bartlett said on omniaudioafrica YouTube Channel.
"When you score goals it needs to be across the park, everybody has to contribute in terms of winning titles, that conversation rate is what has been lacking at Chiefs, that (was) probably the bigger issue, that the conversion rate is too low for the amount of opportunities they create.

"Sometimes people assume Chiefs have deep pockets to get that striker but you need to find a balance in spending money. When it comes to individual qualities and desire, I do feel if a lot of strikers can put in more work...they want to score on weekends but they don't want to put that extra hour at training, that for me is lacking a lot in South Africa," the former Amakhosi striker concluded.
Lilepo revived Chiefs' hopes upfront last term after he arrived at the end of January and scored six goals in 15 league appearances but that was not enough to secure a top eight spot.
