Football legend Mlungisi Ngubane has praised Kaizer Chiefs for signing former Orlando Pirates flying left-back Paseka Mako and right-back Thabiso Monyane.
Ngubane believes that both players possess leadership qualities, something that the club has been lacking.
"The only concern with Mako and Monyane is their history of injuries, which affected their playing time at Pirates," Ngubane tells KickOff.
"However, they are strong signings and are players suited for a big club. I admire their bravery, they are not like the players Chiefs have been signing recently.
"If the five players Chiefs signed this week can gel well with the current squad, they will make a significant impact."
Ngubane emphasized that Monyane and Mako are determined players, highlighting that only fighters play for Orlando Pirates.
"Those who are committed to winning are the ones who represent Pirates. That is the mentality the two players are bringing to Kaizer Chiefs."

He also suggested that Chiefs should consider adding Peter Shalulile and Percy Tau, as well as a top goalkeeper, to enhance their competitiveness for the next season.
"If Chiefs can sign Shalulile, he would provide them with a strong season and help restore the team's dignity. Just imagine if they could also add Tau to the mix."
Ngubane envisions a powerful line-up with Tau, Lilepo, Shalulile, and Flavio in one team, calling it potentially the strongest Chiefs squad in recent years.
"But they must also remember to secure a goalkeeper who can turn games in their favour. Every team needs one."
