DONA: Teko Modise makes short-film appearance

South African giants Mamelodi Sundowns premiered the Sundowns Stories YouTube series on Monday and Teko Modise once again took the spotlight at the showcasing. 

The series documents Sundowns' 50-year legacy in the South African topflight, with every episode featuring present and past stars detailing the experiences at the Pretoria-based club. 

Alongside veteran goalkeeper Denis Onyango, Sundowns Ladies star Lehlogonolo 'Hlogi Mash' Mashigo, and the club's life-long fan Nickson 'Majembeni' Maluleka, Modise is one of the featured guests in the docuseries, as he delves into his personal and Sundowns journey.

Held at Ster-Kinekor at The Mall of Africa in Midrand, the Sundowns Stories Premier was a star-studded affair. The likes of Robert Marawa, Doctor Khumalo, Anthony Laffor, Warren Masemola and Thapelo Tips, among others, were all in attendance to witness the glorious occasion.

With many yet to see the series, many will be keen to have a closer look at The Navigator's time at Chloorkop after joining them in 2011. Following his move from Orlando Pirates, he would go on to spend six years with Masandawana and play a key role in the success of the club from there on, as he won no less than five major trophies.

With so many experiences during his spell, viewers and fans must be desperate to know the contents of his story!

In September 2021, Modise was named as a Sundowns ambassador, alongside former teammate Tiyani Mabunda.
