With KickOff having reported on Monday that a PSL club coach was on the verge of a departure after failure to qualify for the Top Eight, new revealing information has now emerged.
According to a reliable source, Chippa have decided not to keep the former central defender after he failed to achieve the goal of finishing in the Top Eight.

They ended the 2024/25 season in 11th place on the Betway Premiership table after 28 matches played.
"Yes, it's true that coach Thabo September is gone, but the club will release a statement today or very soon," said the source.
"They want to be the ones to officially announce the news.
"Chippa United will be looking for a new coach next season, but I'm not sure if that coach will bring in his own technical staff."

This season, the Gqeberha-based outfit managed eight wins, seven draws, and lost 13 games, finishing with a total of 31 points.
It has not yet been established where September will be headed next, with media reports suggesting he turned down an opportunity to coach in the club's DStv Diski Challenge side.
