Trophy magnet Ngezana on a fancy Greek vacation

Siyabonga Ngezana caps off another stunning season with a luxurious getaway to one of the world’s most popular tourist destinations. Here’s a look!

The Story

Ngezana has recently secured back-to-back Romanian SuperLiga titles after lifting this season’s crown with FCSB.

The South African defender is already a cult hero at the club, and one would assume that if he continues on this trajectory, he is likely to become a certified club legend.

Impressively, a player agent close to FCSB recently admitted that the club’s owner, Gigi Becali, was more than happy to sign Ngezana back in 2023—despite knowing very little about the former Kaizer Chiefs star.

"It took Gigi Becali a while to gain experience. Think about how much he lost before he started winning. He took the best players Romania had to offer.

"I think Siyabonga Ngezana is the first player he signed without actually knowing him," said Florin Manea on Digi Sport Special.

Now a resident of Bucharest with his newly-wedded wife, Mbali Malindi, Ngezana appears to be exploring other parts of Europe during the off-season.

His wife posted some stunning images on Instagram this past weekend, revealing that the couple are enjoying a luxurious holiday in Mykonos, Greece.

Famous for its vibrant nightlife, beautiful beaches, and pristine whitewashed buildings, Mykonos is a go-to destination for many well-known footballers.

In the past, players such as Harry Maguire, Jack Grealish, Ian Maatsen, and Mason Mount have all holidayed there.

It’s likely that Ngezana will remember this vacation for a long time, as it is also one of his first as a happily married footballer!
