Themba Zwane will stand in front of the queue in having a voice that will carry Mamelodi Sundowns to their second CAF Champions League title.
Zwane along with Denis Onyango are the only surviving members from the squad that played during the successful 2016 CAF Champions League campaign.

Thapelo Morena joined Sundowns at the end of the group stages of that 2016 campaign but never got any minutes.
"I think with this group," notes Zwane.
"I can say it is better.
"But it is more of the same because of the brotherhood that we have and the understanding.
"I feel like everyone is a leader in this group.
"You don’t have to put an armband to be a leader, but you can see everyone can lead.
"You see when we play that everyone gives instructions because we understand each other along with the love that we give as a team.

"I think what helps is the communication because we communicate a lot as players and understand each other.
"But mostly like I said it’s the love we have for each other," says Zwane who is expected to get minutes following his return from injury.
