Seeing a second-string Bafana Bafana team show total domination against the Mozambique national team, proved how South African football has grown, that's according to Mamelodi Sundowns legend Manqoba Ngwenya.
Goals from Sinoxolo Kwayiba and Ashley Cupido at the Peter Mokaba Stadium in Tuesday's friendly match saw Bafana beating Mozambique 2-0.

Ngwenya says seeing Bafana run riot against their visitors without some of their regular players proved the future is bright for the national team.
"To be honest, I was impressed with the performance dished out by the Bafana Bafana youngsters yesterday," Ngwenya tells KickOff.
"I'm happy with the mentality that is currently existing in our national team. I'm happy with the way the young boys performed against Mozambique.
"The way they expressed themselves on Tuesday I think they have now put their hand up. It shows they are willing to be counted," he added.

"What's working well for Hugo Broos is his boldness, he is not afraid to bring in youngsters when they are performing well in their clubs.
"He's got everything right and the boys are performing well for him every time they are given a chance. South Africa has always had young quality players. It's just that in the past, we always took time to give youngsters a chance.
"It was always assumed that youngsters will not do well in big stages, but Hugo Broos has done it. He has proved youngsters can deliver, and it's good for the nation because it will give that much-needed longevity. At their age, these boys have the potential to be together for a long time. Rather than selecting for the national team players who are close to retirement.
"I think these boys are ready for AFCON in December. I mean why not? We should give other players a chance to show what they have for the country.
"What I saw yesterday against Mozambique it gives the coach a good headache heading into the AFCON."
