Allegedly, an agent from Zimbabwe has expressed intentions to submit his CV to Dynamos.
The struggling side is coached by Lloyd Chigowe and have recently appointed ex-Orlando Pirates striker Takesure Chinyama as strikers coach and assistant.
Mlwane, who holds a CAF A Licence, has previously been on the bench of teams like Malanti Chiefs and Mbabane Citizens in the Eswatini Premier League.
This season, he successfully qualified The Bees for the Nedbank Cup, although they were eliminated in the Last 32 by Polokwane City.
The man nicknamed 'Cellular' joined the Mpumalanga club last August after they finished 11th the previous season.
Asked about the rumoured interest, he stated he was unaware of it, emphasizing where his primary focus currently lies.
"I'm not aware of the rumoured interest. My focus is on fulfilling my responsibilities here (in the ABC Motsepe League National Play-Offs) and leaving everything else for next season," Mlwane told KickOff.com.
"I had a great season with The Bees. We played 30 games, winning 23, drawing four, and losing three. We scored 50 goals and conceded only 11. Our strong defensive performance was key to winning this championship.
"Our defensive midfielder, Enocent Mkhabela, played a crucial role, having had experience with major PSL teams.
"Yes, my ambition is to move up a level from where I am right now. I have been prepared to coach in the Motsepe Foundation Championship since obtaining my coaching certificate.
"Sometimes I find it challenging to express myself fully at my current level. With my qualifications, I feel I deserve to be on a bigger stage.

"I'm more than ready for the Motsepe Foundation Championship, and if an opportunity arises in the PSL, I would even consider being an assistant coach. I want to establish my name in the profession. I'm ready for any offer.
"I'm no longer a young coach, so I would love to fulfill my dream of coaching pro football in SA."
