Mamelodi Sundowns have received a preferred home date for their last league fixture, giving them the opportunity to lift the Betway Premiership trophy in Pretoria if they finish as champions.
By virtue of a vastly superior goal difference, Sundowns now need six points at most from four games to land their eighth consecutive league title.

These six points will only be needed provided Orlando Pirates win on Tuesday night (19:30) against Golden Arrows at Moses Mabhida Stadium.
Sundowns are in action against Chippa United on Wednesday (19:30) at Loftus, after which they will move their home to Lucas Masterpieces Moripe to play Stellenbosch FC on Sunday, May 11.
The outstanding fixture away at Chippa United, which had originally been scheduled for the last day of the season on May 24, has now been moved closer to May 14.
CAF has reserved May 24 for the first leg of the CAF Champions League final against Pyramids FC, which has forced the PSL to make changes to the conclusion of the domestic league season.
The Brazilians will now end their local league season with a home match against Magesi FC on May 17.
This will now be the day when they will be handed the trophy should they have completed the season as champions by then as is largely expected.
The PSL presents the league title on the last day and while curtains on this campaign will only close on May 28, Sundowns will end their domestic season on May 17 due to Champions League commitments on May 24 and June 1.
That will then be the day they are presented with the trophy if they are the league champions by then.
Last year, they enjoyed celebrating their title win on a weekend date at home in front of their fans for the first time since May 21, 2021.
The six title celebrations prior to last year were not in front of the Yellow Nation at home on a weekend.
Sundowns were crowned champions on a Tuesday for the 2022/23 title, lifted the 2021/22 title away at Royal AM, while the 2020/21 title was before empty seats at Loftus during the Coronavirus days.

The 2019/20 was also in front of empty seats in the bio-bubble at Dobsonville Stadium.
Before that, the 2018/19 title came away at Goble Park Stadium, while the 2017/18 one was at the Dr. Petrus Molemela Stadium in Bloemfontein.
