Orlando Pirates moved back into second spot on the DStv Premiership table with a 2-0 win over Chippa United on Saturday evening.
Pirates were unchanged from their 2-0 win over Richards Bay FC last weekend and eagerly looked to continue their push towards a top-two position.
The hosts though were close to taking the lead on 16 minutes when Brooklyn Poggenpoel picked up a loose clearance from a corner-kick and snapped an effort wide with the Pirates defence unbalanced.

However, the Buccaneers made their first clear foray count two minutes later after Monnapule Saleng picked up a lay-off from Thembinkosi Lorch and picked out Kabelo Dalmini to tap in the far corner.
Pirates extended their cushion eight minutes to halftime when Lorch beat the offside trap and slotted in a through pass from Paseka Mako with sheer composure whilst opening his account for the season in the league.
The Chilli Boys named two substitutions at the start of the second half in Azola Ntsabo in place of Janovane September and Ronaldo Maarman ahead of Ronald Pfumbidzai.
Although, the Buccaneers still enjoyed a dominant spell and could've had a third from a teasing corner by Lorch but Loydt Kazapua fortunately managed to thwart the attempt to safety.
Chippa began to have openings up top and very nearly reduced the tally with a first-time header by Etiosa Ighodaro, but goalkeeper Sipho Chaine steered the Nigerian's effort away.
Lorch once again threatened a brace through a header at the far post in the last ten minutes from a ball by substitute Deon Hotto, but Kazapua parried comfortably.
Pirates continued to dominate the closing seconds ahead of full-time and registered the win to reclaim second spot on the table.
