Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has now responded to rumours of a potential move to sign Kylian Mbappe.
The French superstar now finds himself isolated at Paris Saint-Germain after the club excluded him from their pre-season tour of Japan and South Korea.

That decision is believed to have come right from the top, with new manager Luis Enrique said to have exempted himself from the saga around the player, having insisted that the matter is beyond his scope of duties upon his arrival in the club's hot seat.
As such, club president Nasser Al-Khelaifi has been quite vocal on the situation, and made it known that Mbappe has to either sign a one-year extension until 2025 very soon or be sold next month rather than lose him as a free agent in June 2024.
On Monday, Al Hilal submitted a mouthwatering €300 million (R5.8 billion) bid for the 24-year-old, with the French giants now said to have accepted the offer, although reports suggest Mbappe has no intention of agreeing to the transfer.
PSG also believe the forward already has a pre-contract agreement in place with Real Madrid in July 2024, but other clubs in Europe are now also reportedly interested in securing his signature, including Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur and United.
With Liverpool and Arsenal having also been mooted as potential suitors, Red Devils boss Ten Hag has now been asked if his side may be tempted to make a loan approach to sign Mbappe, according to Goal, and interestingly, he did not rule the potential move out.
The Dutch boss answered: "We never speak about players who are under contract in other clubs."
He had more to say when asked about the club's progress in bringing in a new striker, believed to be Rasmus Hojlund of Atalanta.
"We make progress, yeah, but you know how it works," he responded.
"We'll do everything in our power to get it done. We need as soon as possible.
"Ideally he'd be here but it's not always possible to make it happen."
