A top European club has reportedly made a major enquiry over the potential transfer of Mason Greenwood from Manchester United.
The 21-year-old remains suspended from all club activities despite sexual assault charges against him being dropped in February this year.
His future has since been a mystery, as the Red Devils have shown no urgence to resolve the matter, with several courses of actions under consideration.
It is believed that the club have the option of selling the player to the highest bidder, terminate his contract with full pay, loan him out, or reinstate the striker into the squad.

However, the latter option is believed to be the most contentious solution, as the women's team and commercial partners are both concerned with the precedent that this would set as well as the public outcry that could result from Greenwood's return.
After being spotted training with his United teammate Anthony Elanga this week, the Englishman looks to be gearing up for the season ahead, as its thought that he has some potential suitors in Turkey and Italy.
According to La Repubblica, Juventus have made a serious enquiry about the forward, as they are said to be willing to weather a major PR storm.
The Italian outlet further claims that Atalanta are also interested in Greenwood, while As Roma's interest has cooled off in recent weeks.
Atalanta, meanwhile, could see their own striker Rasmus Hojlund join United after the English outfit made him a priority target. It is unclear whether a swap deal could be considered by the Seria A outfit, as they are reportedly adamant about their asking price for the Danish sensation, which stands at €60 million (R1.2 billion).
