One of Europe's biggest sides are reportedly attempting to hijack Manchester United's move for Bayern Munich star Benjamin Pavard.
Reports claim that the Red Devils had been pushing to sign the World Cup winner in this transfer window, although there has been a hold up due to Harry Maguire's decision not to join West Ham United.

It is believed that the Premier League side can only sign new players once they are able to sell a few more in the coming weeks.
As a result, Inter Milan are now trying to take advantage of United's stalling by making a move for the Bavarians defender.
Fabrizio Romano has reported that Inter and Bayern are in talks to work out a deal for the French defender after a €25million bid was submitted earlier this week.

Pavard was named on the bench for Bayern in their opening Bundesliga clash on Friday as his future remains unresolved.
Inter coach Simone Inzaghi also confirmed that the 2018 World Cup winner is among their transfer targets.
"He is an objective, but I don't like talking about players in other teams. He is not the only option and we need a player in that area," Inzaghi said, as per Football Italia.
