Balotelli: I'd only play for PSG if they offer me this salary...

Mario Balotelli insisted he would never play for Paris Saint-Germain, but changed his mind when a certain salary was suggested!

The Italy international, who is currently playing in Turkey for Adana Demirspor, touched on various subject during a recent interview with TvPlay, including Victor Osimhen's controversial penalty miss and a hypothetical move to PSG.

Balotelli boasts an eventful career to date, having also played for both Milan clubs, Manchester City, Liverpool, OGC Nice and Olympique Marseille.

One club the 33-year-old never played for is one of Marseille's most bitter rivals PSG and, in answering a conjectural question posed to him, he admitted he would not be opposed to joining them, but only if the right offer was tabled.

"What if PSG call me? No chance. No way – as I used to play for Marseille and Nice so… no way," he answered, as per Fabrizio Romano.

"What if they come with €10 million [R20 million] salary proposal?" one of the presenters then asked.

"Of course. In that case I'd accept… for €10 million I'd even join my brother's team and go play there!" Balotelli replied while laughing.

The 2009/10 Champions League winner also touched on Osimhen's penalty incident, saying that the Nigerian should not have shied away from taking another penalty after seemingly being mocked on one of his club's social media channels for missing from the spot against Bologna.

In the next game against Udinese following his missed spot-kick, the Super Eagles talisman added to his goals tally and could have had another, but chose to give the penalty Napoli were awarded to Piotr Zielinski, who converted it successfully to open the scoring in that match.

"Osimhen is a friend of mine, I greet him. But in the penalty miss against Udinese, he disappointed me a bit. He should have kicked and not Zielinski," Balotelli said.

"That [TikTok] video is meaningless. Victor has a personality, there's no denying that.

"The goal he scores is complicated, don't think it's easy.
