Embattled businesswoman Shauwn Mkhize is now said to have lost a fleet of luxury vehicles, including some of Royal AM’s team buses. Here's a look at some of the vehicles that were recently auctioned.
The Story
Mkhize has parted ways with some of her most expensive cars due to her ongoing legal battle with SARS.
Bidders Choice, an auction and property trading company, hosted an auction between 27 June and 2 July to sell Mkhize’s fleet of vehicles.

According to Bidders Choice’s official website, some of the cars that were up for sale at the auction included the following:
- 2020 Bentley Continental GTC (2019 Edition)
- 2018 BMW GT 640i
- 2016 BMW X1
- 2012 BMW X6 xDrive 40d
- 2013 Toyota Hilux 2.7 VVTi Double Cab
- 2019 Toyota Hilux 2.7 VVTi Single Cab
- 2014 Mercedes-Benz Marcopolo G7
- 2018 Mercedes-Benz V-Class Maybach Bus
- 2009 Nissan NP300 Hardbody
- 2016 Volkswagen Crafter
Elsewhere, the Msunduzi Municipality in KwaZulu-Natal has cancelled its R27 million sponsorship of Royal AM.
According to the Daily Sun, Msunduzi’s acting municipal manager, Nelisiwe Ngcobo, explained the decision.
She said: "After thorough deliberations, which took place during a recent full council meeting where the matter was tabled as a confidential item, council resolved to terminate the agreement with immediate effect.
"The municipality further clarifies that this decision has no connection to any ongoing court processes. It is strictly based on and in accordance with the terms of the partnership agreement entered into between the municipality and the football club.”
