The Congolese talisman has been strongly linked with the Naturena-based giants and the Tshwane-based powerhouse, with several reports from North Africa suggesting that Downs have already submitted an official offer to Pyramids.
Amidst those developments, it has also emerged that Saudi Arabian side Al-Fateh has joined the race to sign the prolific striker. Reports indicate that negotiations are underway between the Saudi club and the Egyptian Premier League outfit.
According to M.youm7.com, Pyramids have set a $3 million (approximately R54 million) price tag for Mayele, a figure Fateh reportedly considered too steep.
More so, it was said that the Saudi club initially requested a reduction in the asking price in order to secure the player's services. Now, a new report by Cairo24.com claims that Al-Fateh are only prepared to pay $1.5 million (approximately R26 million).
