Messi's contract at Barcelona is set to expire at the end of the season and Ramos jokingly revealed that he would invite the six-time Ballon d'Or winner to live with him if he decided to make the switch to Madrid.
"Of course, 100%! Ramos said on Twitch show Charlando Tranquilamente when asked if he would welcome Messi at Real. "He could stay at my place for the first week or so. He can find his feet and get comfortable, I'd be more than happy to do that.
"Us Madrid fans have had to endure Leo's best years, so to not have to face him every week would be great and to have him with us would obviously help us to win and have more success. It would be stupid to say it wouldn't."
The 34-year-old, whose own contract at the Santiago Bernabeu is also expiring at the end of the season, admitted that it was unlikely Messi would ever make such a move, in the same manner that he would never trade Real for Barca.
"Absolutely no chance [I would join Barcelona]! the Spain international added. "I like [Barca president Joan] Laporta, I've met him and I like him but it's the same as seeing Xavi, [Carles] Puyol or even Messi signing for Madrid.
"It works the other way too and there's those of us who would never play for Barca. There are some things money can't buy."
