Glody Makabi Lilepo needs to get back to international football for the sake of growing his profile at Kaizer Chiefs.
This is the opinion of a Congolese who played in the PSL before and are aware of the issues that have contributed to Lilepo being blacklisted from the national team.

The 27-year-old hasn't attracted the interest of the DR Congo national team coach Sebastien Desabre despite what he has done at Chiefs since arriving from French club Valenciennes.
Part of the issues relate to the drama that Lilepo caused during his last call-up when he refused to travel with the team on match day after being informed, he had been dropped from the match day team.
Lilepo – who has 11 caps – has now not played for the national team since he featured in the friendly against Uganda in June 2023.
"The boy needs to apologise for what he did," advices a retired Congolese.
"His behaviour wasn’t right because it showed that he is not a team player.
"If the coaches have selected the team, he needs to understand that it is their choice.
"When a player is dropped from the team it is for a reason that coaches don’t always need to explain.
"Now that his club career is back in line he needs to stay away from controversy of the past and apologise.
"It will only benefit his game if he rubs shoulders with Fiston Mayele, Yoane Wissa, Banza (Simon) and Essende (Samuel).
"So, he should aim to sort out his issues and get to mix with all these guys now that he is at a club that stands to put him back into the national team.

"There was no need for him to act like a spoilt brat," he says.
Through his 16 months in France, where his club played in the Second Division before relegated, Lilepo never earned any caps despite being called up.
