Ancelotti: Racism doesn't affect Vinicius

Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti insists Vinicius Junior is in good spirits for Sunday's Madrid derby after the racist remarks aimed at him by a Spanish agent this week.

The president of Spanish football agents Pedro Bravo took issue with Vinicius dancing celebrations and told the player to stop 'playing the monkey'.

A number of Brazilian players around the world come out to support Vinicius on social media over the past 48 hours with the hashtag #BailaViniJr.

Both Los Blancos and the player have since spoken out about the issue, with Ancelotti revealing the Brazilian is in good spirits ahead of Sunday night's clash.

"It doesn't affect the dressing room or Vinicius, that's for sure," Ancelotti said, as per ESPN.

"We're thinking about preparing for the game. These things aren't spoken about in the dressing room.

"Racism is much more important than what happens on the pitch.

"I think the player has dealt with it well in his statement... For me, nothing is happening [to Vinicius.] He's playing with joy, with the quality he has, with happiness."
