Zimbabwe head coach Michael Nees has revealed the next step in Knowledge Musona's club future after the striker narrowly escaped relegation from the Saudi Pro League.
On Monday, Musona's side Al Okhdood secured survival in the Saudi top flight following a 3-2 win over Al Khaleej.
Musona played his part, being withdrawn after 75 minutes having registered an assist.

The result was crucial, ensuring Al Okhdood avoided relegation to the second tier by just one point.
Given Musona’s recent battle to remain in the Saudi Pro League, he was left out of Zimbabwe’s squad for the upcoming international break.
Head coach Nees has since revealed that Musona is now in contract talks with Al Okhdood.
"Knowledge Musona’s team escaped relegation on Monday, and contract negotiations are now underway. We cannot interfere in those matters," said Nees, according to Soccer24.
Musona joined Al Okhdood in August 2024 and this season recorded five goals and three assists in 30 league matches, according to Transfermarkt.
Elsewhere, Nees also explained that he didn’t call up Marshall Munetsi of Wolverhampton Wanderers as he wanted to give him a rest.
“Marshall Munetsi [needs] a well-deserved break after a very tough season; always gives 100 percent, so he needs a full rest. We need him to come back in full fitness in September,” he told the press, according to Pan-African Football.
