Wydad Athletic Club are reportedly concerned about the lack of progress in negotiations for Thembinkosi Lorch.
Lorch has undoubtedly been Wydad's standout performer at the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, despite facing top opposition such as Manchester City and Juventus.
The South African star is the only player to have scored for the Casablanca outfit in the tournament so far, thanks to a stunning chip over the goalkeeper against Juventus.

Wydad’s elimination has already been confirmed ahead of their final group stage match against Al-Ain on Thursday night.
It is now reported that Wydad are scrambling to find a solution regarding Lorch’s future.
According to Moroccan outlet LeSite Info, Wydad fear the possibility of losing Lorch in the near future, as his loan deal is set to expire after the Club World Cup.
Wydad’s primary concern is reportedly the fact that Lorch’s loan agreement from Sundowns does not include a clause allowing them to purchase the player outright.
Le Site Info claims that Wydad representatives have been in direct negotiations with Sundowns for some time now in the hope of securing a permanent deal for Lorch.
Lorch is believed to have attracted the attention of potential suitors following an impressive showing at the Club World Cup, and Wydad are keen to secure his services as soon as possible.
