Having netted a sumptuous goal against Juventus on Sunday, Thembinkosi Lorch has shared his thoughts on Wydad Athletic Club's 4-1 defeat to the Italian giants.
Lorch became the third South African to score at the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, following Mamelodi Sundowns duo Iqraam Rayners and Lebo Mothiba.

The skilful forward also became Wydad's first goalscorer at this year’s tournament after delightfully lobbing Juve goalkeeper Michele Di Gregorio.
Although his individual performances have impressed many, Lorch's side has now been eliminated from the Club World Cup.
Speaking after the match, Lorch insisted that the team would treat the defeat to Juve as a learning experience.
Speaking to DAZN, Lorch said: "The result is harsh, but we learnt a lot from this match, and from the first one against City.
"We have one last game against Al Ain, and we’ll give it everything to get the three points and make our fans happy.
"We want to give our all for them after the support they’ve shown us.
"I don’t think we lost — it was a chance to learn and gain experience."
Wydad’s final Club World Cup group game will be against Emirati giants Al Ain on Thursday, 26 June, at 21:00 South African time.
