LATEST: TS Galaxy transfer ban update
TS Galaxy’s efforts to escape from the holding cells of their FIFA registration ban have continued this week with further developments.
The Betway Premiership side have been unable to register all their new signings in this window due to the FIFA-imposed registration ban.
This meant their MTN8 game against Sekhukhune United was played minus any of Ntandoyenkosi Nkosi, Anslin William, Matome Mmolai, Mzwandile Dlamini, Siyabonga Nguessan, Onke Moletshe, Sedwyn George, and Veluyeke Zulu.

Part of the reasons for that MTN8 defeat on Saturday was that they had limited options, giving away a two-goal lead to end up losing 3-2.
Ahead of the MTN8 match last week, they cleared three (from December 9 and 19, 2024 and May 7, 2025) of the four transfer bans that they have been sitting on but unfortunately found themselves with another fresh ban on July 30.
It then brought their outstanding bans to two (April 29 and July 30).
The one from last week has now been lifted.
Part of the issues involved a claim from Portuguese lower division club Grupo Desportivo Alcochetense, where their former winger Mlungisi Zwane played as a teenager after leaving the KZN Academy.
Zwane then joined Galaxy two years ago.
In clearing four the five bans, the Mpumalanga-based outfit have spent millions in making all the respective payments due to all affected parties.
If the last ban is not lifted before their opening league match against Durban City on Sunday, then they will again be blocked from registering their new players.
According to FIFA, this outstanding ban will remain in place until it is lifted.
Adnan Beganovic, the Galaxy coach, this week indicated that he was hopeful to have all new players available after being informed that all FIFA bans have been sorted.
The Rockets have another pending case involving Jegbay Morris Konneh, who won his case at FIFA’s DC and must now be paid USD118 800 (approx. R2,1 million).

The club immediately asked for the grounds of the decision, which sets aside the 45-day notification to pay.
The Rockets will go into the new season minus Keagan Dolly, Dzenan Zajmovic, Kamogelo Sebelebele, Sphiwe Mahlangu, Lebone Seema, Damir Sovsić, Marks Munyai, Lindokuhle Mbatha, Thamsanqa Masiya, and Jiří Ciupa with Khulumani Ndamane set to join Mamelodi Sundowns.
