Among them is DR Congo, who have announced two friendlies against Mali and Madagascar on 5 and 8 June, respectively.
DR Congo, who finished fourth at the most recent Africa Cup of Nations, revealed a 26-man squad featuring a surprise inclusion.
Manager Sebastien Desabre has called up former Manchester United star Aaron Wan-Bissaka for the upcoming fixtures.
Wan-Bissaka, who was sold to West Ham United at the start of this season, is expected to join DR Congo’s training camp in the city of Orléans, France.
Although born in England, the right-back is of Congolese descent and previously represented his country of birth at Under-21 level.
In 2019, he was called up to England’s senior men’s national team.
However, he had to withdraw due to injury and has not been called up since, largely due to fierce competition in his position, including the likes of Kyle Walker, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Reece James, and Kieran Trippier.
