Rulani's Wydad successor revealed?

It seems Moroccan giants Wydad Athletic Club have found Rulani Mokwena's successor following the South African coach's departure from the club weeks ago.

According to Sport7, the Botola Pro League giants have secured the service of Moroccan coach Amine Benhachem, who had been already at the club serving as a sporting director.

Benhachem was given the responsibility of managing the team on an interim basis after Mokwena was released by the Red Castle with three games left in the season.

The 49-year-old tactician won all three games which saw the team finish in third place in the Botola Pro League standings and secure spot in the CAF Confederation Cup for the upcoming campaign.

After the season ended, Benhachem stated that he would resume his role as a sporting director while Wydad continue looking for a new coach.

However, with the FIFA Club World Cup fast approaching, reports in Morocco are claiming that Benhachem has signed a two-year deal as a head coach with Wydad.
