Although the Spanish tactician is yet to be officially announced as the new head coach, he appears to have already started recommending players he wants to add to his roster.
Riveiro promoted Mbokazi to the Buccaneer's first team from the DStv Diski Challenge in October 2024. With the player having done a great job for Riveiro, the coach is now said to be keen on working with him at the Red Devils, according to various Egyptian outlets.
Amid these developments, Egyptian publication Zahraa are claiming that Ahly president El Khatib has welcomed Riveiro's recommendations to sign the 19-year-old promising defender.
