Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly been approached from one of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup African clubs participants.
Africa will be represented by South Africa's Mamelodi Sundowns, Al Ahly from Egypt, Morocco's Wydad Athletic Club, and Esperance de Tunis of Tunisia.
With the four teams currently busy beefing up their squads, a report from Marca is that former Rulani Mokwena's team Wydad are contemplating the possibility of signing Portugal international Ronaldo.

The five-time Ballon d'Or winner is currently plying his trade at the Saudi Arabian outfit Al Nassr. However, Marca has claimed that the veteran attacker could be on his way out from the club.
According to Transfermarkt, the 40-year-old's current contract with the Saudi Pro League giants will expire on June 30, 2025, and there is a high possibility that he will not sign a new deal.
As a result, it is said that Wydad, who recently parted ways with Mokwena, are interested in securing his signature ahead of the Club World Cup set to take place in America.

The Red Castle have been placed in Group G, along with Pep Guardiola's Manchester City, UAE club Al Ain, and the Italian giant Juventus.
It remains to be seen if Wydad will go on to sign Ronaldo, who has also been linked with several teams including one of four Brazilian teams qualified for the Club World Cup Botafogo.
