Fikizolo has signed a two-year deal with Roger Sikhakhane's side and the player was part of the squad that faced University of Pretoria over the weekend at TUKS Stadium.
The 24-year-old, who was part of Owen da Gama's under-23 side during the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio, left Abafana Bes'Thende without playing a single match for them this season as he was recovering from broken foot injury he suffered in December last year.
“I have signed for Royal Eagles and it’s a permanent deal,” Fikizolo tells snl24.com/kickoff.
Fikizolo first caught the eye in the colours of Thanda Royal Zulu during the 2014 Nedbank Cup round of 32 against Orlando Pirates. He scored twice in a 3-3 draw against the Buccaneers at Umhlathuze Sports Ground.
He was then signed by Supersport United ahead of 2014/15 season on a three year deal, but only played two games in the first half of that season before he was loaned out to then National First Division side Arrows in the second half of the campaign.
Fikizolo scored six goals in 13 appearances, to help Arrows return to the PSL. Fikizolo eventually joined Arrows permanently in 2017 after being loaned out twice. He will be hoping to rediscover his best form with Eagles.
