Mamelodi Sundowns stars stylish Air Jordan drip

Mamelodi Sundowns are known to be among the biggest spenders in Africa, which is why it only makes sense that their stars buy expensive drip from one of the world's biggest brands such as Air Jordan. Take a look!

What happened?

The Nike Jordan brand is one of the biggest and most successful moves from a shoemaking company. The brand named after Michael Jordan has become so popular that Forbes claims the sportswear giant has paid MJ an estimated $1.3 billion (R20 billion).

The label comes with everything from shoes, socks, pants, shorts, jackets, t-shirts and more.

Downs Air Jordan obsession

In a recent post on Instagram, Lyle Lakay showed off his latest Jordan merchandise in the form of a basketball-styled t-shirt with Nike pants and classic Jordan Retro 11 kicks, which are valued at R5715, according to basketzone. This comes as no surprise because the left-back has already displayed a huge admiration for the brand in his shoe collections.

Peter Shalulile who accompanied Lakay had his own grey Jordan Jumpman shorts and tee that are both valued at R1000. Grant Margeman, who is currently on loan at Moroka Swallows may be the best dressed of the trio as he chose to wear an all-black Jordan outfit from head to toe.

Did you know?

In October, Shalulile equaled a long-standing PSL Player of the Month award record by winning back-to-back awards, according to local media.

Your thoughts, please?
