With Both clubs having released their streetwear and lifestyle collections, we look at who has the most stylish club apparel between Soweto giants Kaizer Chief and Orlando Pirates.
While fans of both clubs can argue that a lot separates Chiefs and Pirates, what cannot be disputed is that they are two of South Africa's most iconic clubs.

The differences between the two clubs are quantifiable, as firstly, the colours that represent them are completely different. Now, in terms of style, colours are a huge factor as the hue of the clothing item can determine whether you like it or not.
Most of Pirates' streetwear collection has black as one of its dominant shades and tone, while Chiefs has its yellow or gold, as their signature aesthetic.
Although these things are viewed in a relative way, we cannot particularly say we are blown away by the merch from both clubs.
The clothes and branding of them seem very straightforward, bland if you could say – and do not really show a concerted effort to make it look stylish or aesthetically pleasing.
Chiefs' streetwear seems more unexciting as the lack of effort in creativity shows above all else. However, credit is due to both clubs when it comes to the lifestyle collection that is produced by their sponsor Nike and adidas.
One wishes that the same sentiments can be shared about the in-house produced streetwear, however, there is room for improvement and there is hope that as time continues the designers will be more inspiring with their style choices.
