Orlando Pirates sensation Relebohile Mofokeng is reportedly edging closer to a move to Al-Ettifaq, according to reports from Saudi Arabia.
In recent weeks, media reports have indicated that Ettifaq had expressed strong interest in signing the 20-year-old star ahead of the new season.

It was said that the Ettifaq had submitted an official offer to the Soweto giants. However, according to reports, Pirates rejected the club’s first bids, deeming it below the player's valuation.
Now, a fresh report from Saudi newspaper AlYaum claims that a deal is close to being finalised, with both clubs having agreed on terms for the transfer.
This move would reunite Mofokeng with his former Buccaneers teammate Mohau Nkota, who recently joined Ettifaq following a stellar 2024/25 campaign.
Rele, as Mofokeng is affectionately known, had a standout season for the Sea Robbers, scoring 12 goals and providing 15 assists in 49 appearances across all competitions.
According to AlYaum, the deal for Mofokeng is expected to be worth around €1.5 million (approximately R31 million).
"Relebohele Mofokeng, the South African Orlando Pirates player, is set to move to Al-Ettifaq after the two clubs agreed on terms," Saudi Arabian publication AlYaum claimed.
