Ndlovu, who is currently back in South Africa, came under fire on Monday evening after a social media post he shared on Instagram was interpreted as an attack on Kocaelispor and the club's manager, Mustafa Resit Akçay.
"Y'all don't deserve me but just remember y'all days are numbered," he posted. "I'm gonna be where I'm respected and needed. I'm tired already, y'all don't realise ukuthi y'all are amateur. Next time I won't come back."
The Bafana Bafana striker has since denied the existence of a rift between himself and his employers and insists that both his post and his return to South Africa are related to personal and business issues rather than a feud with Kocaelispor.
"People are blowing things out of proportion," he tells snl24.com/kickoff. "I did a post yesterday about some personal and business stuff that I am going through because there is someone who was stealing money from my business.
"So yesterday I posted about what was going on in my life, and people thought I was speaking about the club, even though I didn't mention the club, or the team, or the manager or anyone.
"I came to South Africa because I wanted to sort out that problem and my mother is also sick, so I can back to sort out these things but people are just convinced that I am talking about the club and the manager. But what can I do? I cannot control what people think."
By Tuesday, the situation had seemingly escalated as tenuous reports claimed Ndlovu's contract with Kocaelispor had been terminated; reports the striker denies ahead of his anticipated return to Turkey on Thursday.
"People sent me messages saying, 'What the hell is that?', and someone at the club asked me what was I saying in that post," he adds. "But why would I post about the club or anyone at the club when no one has done anything to me?"
"Again, if they want to take it out of context, I can't control what people think. If I had something negative to say about the club, I would have come out and said it, straight. I wouldn't run to social media and become that petty.
"I've never been scared to voice out my concerns so, if they want to terminate my contract then it's fine, but no, we will discuss everything when I go back the day after tomorrow. I will meet the club and see what they say, but based on what would they terminate my contract?
"I've never had issues with anyone, no issues at all with the club. I don't know if they have a problem with me, but if there was, I think they could have said it to me or sat down and asked me, 'Dino, what's happening?'"
