Lebese (Colorado Springs Switchbacks), Moloto (FC Tulsa) and Tumi Moshobane (San Diego Loyal) have all been retained by their respective clubs for the 2021 USLC campaign and are expected to return to the pitch on or around 1 May after the league confirmed the provisional commencement date.
"...Following the league's Board of Governors meeting, the 2021 regular season will begin on or about 1 May, see the teams split into four divisions, and will contain a 32-game slate running across 27 weeks through the end of October, with play-offs scheduled for November," the official statement read.
"In voting for a flexible start date, the Governors have approved for clubs to begin play anywhere between 24 April and 15 May.
"Further announcements on scheduling, divisional alignment and play-off structure will be made in the coming months and the league will continue to monitor the ongoing COVID-19 crises in the event that alterations to the format need to be made."
Lebese joined the Switchbacks last season and made 16 appearances in his maiden campaign with the team, former Kaizer Chiefs academy graduate Moshobane has been in the United States since 2017, while Moloto has spent the past decade playing across the country's football pyramid.
