Bafana Bafana are scheduled to come up against France for the first time since defeating Les Bleus at the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa when the two countries meet in an international friendly on 29 March.
Hugo Broos' side are set to meet an altogether different outfit this time around, however, with the current generation of France stars boasting the honour of being the current world and UEFA Nations Cup champions.
The two nations are also divided by 65 places in the latest FIFA World Ranking (as of February 2022) with the French occupying third spot, while South Africa rank in a lowly 68th position on the global standings.
