Mosimane has been touted as a potential replacement for Ntseki who was sacked by the South African Football Association on Wednesday due to his incredible success since suffering the same fate from the federation in 2012.
The former Mamelodi Sundowns coach was relieved of his duties by SAFA after failing to qualify for the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations and has since won 13 trophies over the past nine years for the Brazilians and Ahly respectively.
Former national team coach Clive Barker recently suggested Mosimane and Benni McCarthy should take over after Ntseki's ill-fated stint with reports in Egypt suggesting that he's distanced himself from the job.
"The coach rejects the idea of ??returning to train South Africa," a source close to Mosimane told Filgoal.
"Mosimane is only thinking of continuing with Al Ahly and he is not enthusiastic to lead the national team, even if it's a dual role with the Al Ahly job
"In 2019, Mosimane refused to coach the team to succeed Stuart Baxter because he was convinced that he had a lot [of work] ahead of him."
