Hugo Broos explains Mthobi Mvala's late Bafana Bafana call-up

Earlier this week, South Africa national team coach Hugo Broos announced his final 23-man squad for the upcoming international friendlies against Guinea and reigning world champions, France.

"We missed Mvala in the game against Ghana," Broos said during his squad announcement on SABC Sport. "He is the one who is very, very aggressive. He recovers the ball, he is strong and so we missed him a little bit.

"We saw also in some of our other games that our midfield was a little bit light. When I see the guys of Orlando Pirates playing, there is power.
