It's a nickname Lushozi believes he inherited from former Buccaneer, Bernard "Dancing Shoes" Hartze.
"But let's agree it's the culture of South African football, as a player people can't keep calling you Jabulani Gumede.
"You are given a football name. It's like your praise name. You are given a nickname. You are being christened. You are being baptised. Your nickname must resemble your actions, the way you are.
"But there is no straight information attached to a nickname, for example with me at Pirates there was once somebody who played for Pirates, Bernard "Shoes" Hartze, remember sometimes other names we inherit them.
"It has nothing to do with me kicking other players because I was playing football you see.
"You wake up the next morning and you find out your name is now Shoes. There's no consultation. It's the people who give you the nickname.
"When I left Swallows I was already Shoes. It's something that shows you are being accepted in the community of football professionally.
"I was only happy to have a name, I didn't question anything. When people give you a name, they have their own reasons."
