The fixture was initially set to take place at Loftus Versveld on Saturday afternoon, with kick-off scheduled for 15h00, but will now be moved to a later time.
"The Premier Soccer League confirms that the Absa Premiership fixture initially scheduled for this coming Saturday afternoon (15h00) will be moved in light of the funeral of the late struggle icon Mama Winnie Nomzamo Madikizela-Mandela," read a statement from the league.
"The ABSA Premiership fixture between Mamelodi Sundowns and Bidvest Wits (scheduled for 15h00 at Loftus Stadium on Saturday) will now be moved to 18h00 at the same venue. The date remains the same (Saturday).
"The League wishes to thank our broadcast partners, sponsors, Member Clubs, supporters and other stakeholders for their understanding."
The Brazilians currently top the standings with a three-point advantage over nearest rivals Orlando Pirates, while the Clever Boys sit a massive 17 points adrift – in 10th position.
