Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed the departures of four players, with three more being placed on the club's transfer list.
Just hours after announcing the arrivals of new signings Cole Alexander and Keagan Dolly, Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed that seven players have been shown the exit door ahead of the 2021/22 campaign.
That tally includes midfield stalwart Willard Katsande (35) whose contract with the club expires at the end of the month, while Kgotso Moleko and Philani Zulu have also been released following the conclusion of their respective deals at Naturena.
Goalkeeper Brylon Petersen will also be on the move, with his next move expected to be confirmed in the coming days, while Lazarous Kambole, Siposakhe Ntiya-Ntiya and Yagan Sasman have all been placed on the transfer list.
"The Club would like to truly thank all of the players for the immense contributions to Kaizer Chiefs over the last number of seasons," the club said in an official statement on Tuesday evening.
"Special mention goes to Willard Katsande who spent the last decade with Chiefs, giving his all. He is a consummate professional who was dedicated to his work and ready to fight for the team, like a soldier! We honour him.
"Farewell to the players and we wish them all the best in the future."
