The former Thanda Royal striker, who was the PSL top goal scorer in 2013/14 season with ten goals, has had to endure a well-documented goal drought that stretches back to last year.
However, he emphatically put an end to that barren patch when he netted back-to-back goals in consecutive league wins over Polokwane City and Golden Arrows.
Komphela, who will be hoping for more of the same from Parker when the season resumes next year February, had nothing but praise for the former FC Twente striker.
"Class is permanent, class is permanent and he’s got it and he just showed it," said Komphela.
Chiefs' top scorers this season are George Lebese and Lorenzo Gordinho who both have three league goals.
